Virgin Blue's new international longhaul airline and livery, V Australia, has hit the scene. V Australia will be operating flights return non-stop between Australia and the United States commencing late 2008. The airline was given permission for 10 flights a week to the US by Australian regulators on 24 July 2007, however it is still awaiting approval by US regulators.

V Australia's affordable fares and outstanding service on the Trans Pacific route will operate in the very same way Virgin Blue has done in the domestic Australian market.
